The In Silent Service Project was started in 2010 by a military connected mother and therapist concerned about the impact of forces separation on the health and wellbeing of children and families.
A unique project supporting our submariner community in navigating the challenges of the silent service.
The wonder years are incredible! They are also exhausting and can be a real challenge especially when navigating submarine cycles and operational demand. This is a space to connect with peers and tackle isolation. You are not alone - reach out.
A unique space for families with neurodivergance to celebrate difference, offer peer support with navigating systems and signposting to help.
This project supports submarine and special forces connected families and individuals of all ages who would like to take time out in nature for rest, recover and to re-connect through their senses in nature.
We specialise in supporting people with deployment cycles.
Wild Spa, rest and connection in nature.
I didn't realise I needed this but
it was the best release from
daily life in challenging times.
More please.
So much support, kindness
and fun has been had by all and
I have met the most wonderful
and supportive mums on this
journey
- all thanks to Helen's
hard work.
This group came at the right time in our
journey into parenthood, from a lonely start
due to lockdown, not knowing any other
mum's or babies, we've made lots of friends
and have had support and advice through
some more challenging times. We will be
forever grateful to this group.
'Absolutely an amazing experience from volunteers and has helped with relaxing and focussing on myself. If this was available more often it would help a lot of people.'
Informative, interesting, eye opening. Who knew we had eight senses not five! Thinking about how to support my son in a different way and will always be grateful for the help and support.
